Among the newer of the old songs. This was written at age 18 during a transition time in my life in the summer after my first year of college.

I couldn’t find it in the airwaves

I even braved the undertow
Still there’s nothing quite like passing time

I would turn water into wine
Unpaint the house with turpentine

Just to be with you
Thought it’s been said that I’m a simple man
Won’t you try it if you can?
I would applaud you with both hands
If you’d save a dance for me
